Science is an education part of any educational systems. It is indispensable for the students to develop scientific sense during their young age. A wonderful way to do so, is to organize the science talent day. This year, in Kikani Vidhya Mandir, the Science Talent day transformed into Science Research Presentation on Main theme “Health & Wellness”

There were various sub themes & sub topic and for various categories from Grade 3 to 12. The school initiated the research presentation and circular were given in the month ofApril in order to give students ample time to collect date, survey and file it. Almost 86 presentations enrolled for the preliminary round. The prelims was conducted on 09.07.18 with the judges to assess the presentation from which 36 presentation was selected for the finalist.

The final event was on 18.07.2018 The chief panelists for the day were

Dr. Rohini N.S, Professor and head in Psychologist, Avinashilingam University

Mrs. Saradha B Ramdass– Department Food Nutrition Management and Dietist, Avinashilingam University

Mrs.Latha Sekar – Principal, Kikani Matric Higher Secondary School

In the august presence of Shri . Tushar . R. Kikani – Correspondent Kikani Institution

The day started with prayer followed by the welcome address by the Principal, The digital inaugural was done by the chief panelist & correspondent, to make the start of the event. Theme presentation was digitally presented to witness the timeline of this day. Followed by students presented their study & survey along with PPT. The viva voce was also a part of the presentation. The panelist and judges were asking their doubts and students were able to answer the questions.

Later the panelist addressed the gathering .Dr. Rohini. N. S in her speech expressed her excitement in seeing the school students to present their paper without any fear. Dr. Saradha Ramdass appreciated the work done by the students. She conveyed that even at college level the students never taken up indepth survey like your students have performed. She was excited the way students presented their work which reflected in her speech. Followed by the correspondent address, in which he appreciated the way of presentation and the level of their research work.

The event came to an end with the vote of thanks.
