TVISHA – Annual Lighting Ceremony

Tvisha, the annual lighting ceremony 2022 was held on the 4th of March 2022. The event was presided over by Prof. Shri. Methil Krish, the chief guest, along with our correspondent Shri Tushar Kikani and the trust members Shri Pradeep Kikani, Shri Chandrakanth patel and Shri Prakash Asher.

The event commenced with the prayer to the almighty which was followed by the lighting of the mother lamp by the dignitaries.
After Mrs. Jayalakshmi welcomed the gathering, principal Mrs. Geetha Raj addressed the students and parents by sharing some insights on the exams and wishing them good luck.

Correspondent Shri Tushar Kikani, in his speech, recommended a book to the students and spoke on how one should have a vision and work towards it.

The X and XII students then lit up their respective lamps to invoke the blessings. They also took a pledge on how they would live up to and keep up the name of their alma matter. Students Tanvi, Shifa, Sweeha and Mukund then spoke about their memories in school and how the institution has helped them groom over the years.

Mrs Sruthi then welcomed the chief guest to deliver his address. Prof Shri Methil Krish engaged the audience with his witty yet an insightful speech. He spoke on how FEAR has been induced in us right from our childhood days and how it impacts us throughout our lives. He referred diamond as an example and how one should possess qualities like a diamond (cut, clarity, carat and colour) in order to stand out and shine. Similarly he proposed to the students to follow the 5 P’s ; Personality, Plan, Perseverance, Positivity and Patriotism, in order to succeed in life.

After the Vote of thanks by Mrs Pradeepa, the event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
