World UNO Day – 16

Grade IX Students hosted an open assembly on International United National Day on 24.10.16. Assembly started with a prayer and followed by News & Thought for the day Aalfred Jeffery of Grade IX read a part from Thirukkural and illustrated it, Veerasakthi of Grade IX briefed on UNO in English and Siddarth briefed in Hindi. Vikash and Anandita spoke on Secretary General of UNO. Students displayed the National Flags of Permanent & Non permanent countries of UNO. Mahalakshmi & Nikki organized a Quiz on UNO for two categories of classes. Category 1:- Grade 6 & 7, & category 2:- Grade 8 & 10 Students took part actively in the Quiz. Assembly came to an end with National Anthem.
