Rashtriya Ekta Divas

India is a secular country with diversified culture and significance in their own kind. As an endeavor to solidify the bond of oneness and unification; the country celebrated the birth anniversary of SardarVallabhai Patel on 31st October as Rashtriya Ekta Divas. In the line with the celebration country wide,KikaniVidhyaMandirSenior secondary school in Coimbatore also celebrated this special day.

A special assembly was conducted by grade XI. The programme started with the prayer song sung by the choir group then students read the thoughts in English and hindi about Unity in Diversity. VeeraSakthiSuwetha of grade XI gave a speech about SardarVallabhai Patel one of the founding fathers of the Republic India. She concluded that all the citizen in India should realize that how National Integrity helps in defeating the actual and Potential threats for Unity, Integrity and security of the Nation. Followed that pledge has been taken to preserve the Unity, Intergrityand Security of the Nation.

Vigilance Awareness Week

KikaniVidhyaMandir Sec.Sec. school Coimbatore in accordance with the guidelines from CBSE and Central Vigilance Commission concluded the vigilance awareness week which began on 29th October and ended on November 3 2018. The week was celebrated on the theme “Eradicate Corruption-Build a new India”.

On 29th October we started our vigilance awareness week celebration with a pledge taken by all the staff members and students. It states that every citizen should be vigilant and commit to highest standards of honesty and integrity at all time and support fight against corruption.

Yash Ramesh Doshi of Grade XII gave a speech about the need of creating awareness about integrity, ethics and human values at personal level. He concluded that corruption has been one of the major obstacles to economic, political and social progress of our country. So all stakeholders such as government citizens and private sector need to work together to eradicate corruption.

During the week poster making, cartoon making, slogan writing were organized for students of Grade IX to XII. As part of vigilance awareness week class teachers organized a lecture cum interactive session on “Ethics and Integrity during Examination” for Grade X and XII students.
