National Unity day celebration was celebrated by Grade 5 on Oct 30th, 2021at 8:45 am. Due to the Pandemic situation, the celebration was conducted through an online mode.
The celebration was taken over by a little Anchor, Sivathmika, Vihaan of Grade 5B and Anasuya of Grade 5A. The assembly commenced with the Morning Prayer which is believed to provide peace and serenity to our minds and souls. Sai Dhanya From Grade 5C , Mrithika Murali from Grade 5A and Abinandhana from Grade 5B. And it was followed by the positive thoughts given by Harshitha from Grade 5C and Harshitha Jaiswal from Grade 5A, it motivated others. Thirukural and News were given by Grade 5A children, Shaziya and Sharathi. Aakash from Grade 5C, Vedanth, Sanjay and Naksh Bothra of Grade 5B shared few points on the importance of celebrating National Unity day followed by Mrithika Murali of Grade 5A shared the facts of Sardar Vallabai Patel statue, Lakshan, Kanish of Grade 5C and Harith Lavan of Grade 5B shared few Slogans on National Unity day. It was then A beautiful Skit video was projected to the students which depicted the Unity in diversity among all religions that prevails in our country. Followed by the Bharathiyar song sung by Yashitha of Grade 5A.
Poster making of the children’s were shared as PPT to all. Sai pranav of Grade 5A has taken Pledge to stress the importance on Unity in our country. After every performance, beautiful comments were given by the Anchors.
The assembly came to its finale with the students delivering a vote of thanks to their mentors followed by the National Anthem. This assembly was undoubtedly a result of the immense efforts put together by students and their teachers. It was once again proved that when students and teachers work together they surely create masterpieces.
We believe that the children had learnt something about National Unity day.
