World Blood Donor Day -2018

The Management, Principal, faculty and the students of Kikani Vidhya Mandir, Senior secondary school organized a blood donation camp SEWA – “Social Empowerment Through Work Education And Action” project in the school Sarojini Nataraj Auditorium in 14th June 2018. The PTA (Parents, Teachers, Alumni) were the active participants for this project. This program is a extension of event that was systemized in the previous year, nearly 35 parents had enthusiastically participated. This Year this event was planned in very systematic manner as a part of students work education activity. Registration forms were issued to the parents & teachers, nearly 150 persons registered and 75 persons donated the blood.

The session started with the assembly conducted by Grade XI students, explaining the importance of donating blood. The chief Guest Rtn. Sri. Arun Gokuldas the active blood donor who has donated blood nearly155 times, addressed the gathering quoting the value “As life is to live, the blood is to give” created a great impact on the students, parents and teachers. And students took an oath to donate more blood by the time they turn 18.This project was associated with IMA Masonic Rotary Midtown Mahaveers Blood Bank Trust.
