Anwesha – Investigatory Research Project, 2024 Valedictory Ceremony

The valedictory ceremony for Anwesha 2024 was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur at the school auditorium, filled with students, faculty, distinguished guests, parents, and participants. The event began with a prayer and a formal welcome note.

Chief guests included Mrs. Sujani Balu, a steering committee member of Siruthuli, Coimbatore, and Mr. Saravanan, the State Coordinator of WWF India, Coimbatore, Correspondent Shri Tushar R Kikani, Trustee Shri Pradeep Kikani, and a panel of judges were also present.

Mrs. Kanagadurga provided an overview of Anwesha 2024, highlighting the students’ research topics and their enhanced knowledge.

Anwesha finalists presented their research projects through PowerPoint presentations, showcasing their efforts over the past three months.
Chief guest Mrs. Sujani Balu commended the students individually, stressing the importance of such activities in motivating others through social media and individual responsibility for environmental change with the phrase, “If not by me, no one.”

Mr. S. Saravanan praised the students’ performance and appreciated the school’s initiative to start research activities at a young age, emphasizing their work towards environmental sustainability. Correspondent Shri Tushar R Kikani congratulated the Principal, staff, and students for their excellent work.

Parents expressed their appreciation for the school’s initiative, noting that the research projects sparked curiosity and provided valuable insights.

The “Youth for Earth” competition, organized by Mobius and the Climate Reality Project, highlighted student projects that focused on raising awareness about creating a sustainable and resilient future.

Awards and certificates were distributed to the winners of Anwesha and their mentors, marking a moment of pride and joy for all involved.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, making Anwesha 2024 a grand success.
