REPUBLIC DAY

The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at the Kikani Vidya Mandir holding patriotism high in hearts. The students and faculties gathered up ardently decked up for the event.

After seeking blessings of the divine, Mr.Arumugam, AO and Mrs. Jayalakshmi the Lead Teacher unfurled the National Flag and everyone present paid respect to the National Flag. The ground echoed with the band playing the National Anthem spreading fervour of patriotism into the air. All hearts hummed the Tamil Flag Song, “Thayin Mani Kodi Pareer….”, along with the students.

Lead Teacher Mrs.Jayalakshmi addressed the gathering with her words of respect for the country and guided the students to concentrate best on the present so that the future would be well taken care of. She asked the children to instill valor for the country in hearts, not only on the special occasions but all through their life.

Mrs.Radha, faculty of Social Science, in her words to the students advised them to be motivated for the nation and to always strive for the development of the nation. She addressed the students as torch bearers for developed nation, Bharat.

Mrs.Prema Grade 9 Teacher, in her Tamil speech spoke about the power of the mind and subconscious health as catalysts for self-development that will eventually lead to the development of the nation as a whole.

Sweets were distributed among all present and everyone dispersed with zeal in their hearts.
