KIKANI VIDHYA MANDIR

The World Music Day was celebrated at Kikani Vidhya Mandir with both joy and enthusiasm. The event was marked by vibrant performances from students who showcased their talents through classical dances, captivating the audience with their graceful movements and intricate footwork.

A significant highlight of the celebration was the inauguration of the new music lab, a state-of-the-art facility designed to nurture the musical talents of students. This special occasion was graced by the presence of the renowned classical artist, Smt. Lavanya Shankar, who officially opened the music lab. Her presence and words of encouragement inspired the young musicians and underscored the importance of music in education and personal growth. She insisted that integrating art into life would teach the four disciplines: Physical Discipline, Emotional Discipline, Mental Discipline, and Spiritual Discipline.

The school correspondent, Tushar R Kikani, congratulated the students and the faculty. He said the school is providing a platform for the holistic development of the students and encouraged them to utilize the facilities to be successful. The trustees, Mr. Pradeep Kikani and Mr. Sachin Kotecha, shared their views, stating that students are blessed to have these music facilities at the school.

Adding to the day’s excitement was the unveiling of the school song, a project that had been a long-held dream of the school community. The song, which embodies the spirit and values of Kikani Vidhya Mandir, was performed by the students, who played musical instruments and sang with enthusiasm and pride. The melodious rendition of the school song resonated through the venue, creating a memorable and unifying moment for everyone present.
