FATHER’S DAY

GRADE – I to V
“A father’s smile has been known to light up a child’s entire day”
To appreciate the hero of our life, we the Kikanians celebrate Father’s day on 19th June. Students of Grade 5, organised the Assembly on ‘Father’s Day’ to honour the influence of fathers in society.
The MC was presented by Ganesh Ram, Yogghamithra, and Varshini.
The program began with a Prayer by seeking blessing from the almighty.
Followed by the prayer was the Thought for the day presented by Dhanwanth in English and Thirukkural was recited by Alphee.
National pledge was led by Dhanya expressing patriotism towards the Nation.
The happenings around the world, NEWS was updated by Nirali C desai
Highlight of the day was delivered by Srivathsan through his emotional speech.
Tamil poetry was recited by Shanmathi, very expressively and rhythemically.
Students had performed a splendid dance performance “Mere Papa” to show their love and affection towards their father.
At the end of each event students gave information on the ‘Super Fathers’ in various fields.
Message by the teacher, was delivered by Mrs. Nagma on ‘Father’s Day’.
Students also expressed their gratitude by rendering their heartwarming words in a beautiful form.
Mrs. Kavitha shared her views on the importance of the Father’s Day.
The assembly concluded by National Anthem.

GRADE – VI to XII
The celebration of Father’s Day was celebrated on 19th June 2023 at Sarojini Natraj Auditorium conducted by the students of Grade 10. In the gracious presence of our esteemed beloved Leads , Staff and Students. It was an unforgettable day as fathers were appreciated and remembered with a video and message. The day was initiated with letter writing event, students from Grades 9 to 12 wrote heartfelt messages to their father. The day started with prayer and thought for the day in English, Tamil and Hindi followed by Speech for occasion in Hindi and English. The occasion showcased the right to witness and contemplate on the growing differences between the father and child. All the students spectated a heartfelt speech by Mrs. Kanagadurga, PGT- Science and an overwhelming pledge was taken by the Students.
The event was celebrated prodigiously with the support and coordination of the Staff and Students.
