Friendship Day – Assembly Grade 8

Grade 8 students hosted a unique assembly on Friendship Day – Theme ” Say No to Friendship Band
“on Saturday 5/8/23. The assembly began with the prayer followed up by the thought for the day
based on Friendship.

A group of students performed a talk show on how to celebrate Friendship Day spectacularly by
cherishing the bond.

Students briefed on how to celebrate it differently and meaningfully. They shared the qualities of
legendary friends. A few examples from Epics were cited like Karna & Duruyodhna & Krishna and
Sudhama. The Talk show ended with a powerful message ” Say No to Friendship Band”. This show
was an eye-opener for the students, who waste money and time in making such bands. Ms. Jaya
addressed the students and appreciated their efforts. The assembly came to an end with the
National Anthem.
