GLOBAL WIND DAY

Students of Grade 6, organised the Assembly on the Theme ‘The world wind day’ to raise awareness of wind energy and its potential to be a major source of clean energy.
The MCs was presented by Raya Sherif, Sahasara, Jishnu and Danshika.
The program began with a Prayer by seeking blessing from the almighty.
Followed by Thought for the day was presented by Pragatheswar in English. Sujay Karthik in Hindi and Thirukkural was recited by Siva Shankar.
The happenings around the world, NEWS was updated by Rishi Vedhyan
An explanation on how to harness wind energy and Conserve the Energy was delivered by Rithan and Rish Vedyan with a PPT.
KeerthiLakshna ,Sruthi. and K.N.Sarvesh demonstrated the functioning of the Wind mill with a working model and explained how windmills produce energy for domestic usage . They also explained about how to convert wind energy into Kinetic energy using a Solar panel.
To get a visual impact, an informative video was presented about the Global Wind Day”
The students took an oath to conserve energy and stand for pro-planet warriors for sustainable consumption and production.
Mrs. Jayalakshmi shared few information on conserving the wind and solar energy which has the power to change in this world.
The assembly concluded with vote of thanks by Vishnu, followed by National Anthem.
