Independence Day Celebrations

On 15th August 2021, Sunday Grade 8 organized the assembly for the celebration of 75th Independence Day in the presence of our beloved Principal, esteemed teachers and passionate students. The vibrant celebration began with Akhilesh and Darsh taking through the programme with the MC. The prayer was steered with the auspicious veena played by Akinjanarthani, thought for the day by Tiyaa, Karishma and Abinaya in English, Hindi and Tamil respectively. It was overwhelming to see the virtual flag hoisting, very patriotic National anthem by Sriram in the Piano, awe- inspiring speech by Anumitha on the importance of freedom struggle and our duty towards our country.Followed by stunning dance performance by Saipooja and Dikshita on how we should celebrate the glory of our freedom. Inspirational National Song was heard in the voice of Aadithyaa Hari. Documentary on Freedom Struggle, importance of collecting coins and information that you can gather through them by Dikshita, a glimpse of great art work done by grade 8 children that show-cased their talent, and facts of the disposal of flags was very informative. The celebration was bestowed with the speech by our beloved Principal on the importance of Independence and our duty towards our country as citizens of India.
