INDUSTRIAL VISIT – GRADE XI

Venue: Milky Mist Dairy Food Pvt. Ltd., Perundurai, Tamil Nadu

The industrial visit to Milky Mist Dairy Food Pvt. Ltd., Perundurai, was organized to give students practical exposure to dairy processing, packaging, and quality control systems in a large-scale production environment.

Milky Mist is a renowned dairy brand in South India, specializing in dairy products like paneer, cheese, ghee, butter, and yogurt.

Objectives of the Visit:

• Educational insight into the operations of a dairy processing company.
• Understanding the different stages of dairy production, packaging, and distribution.
• Exploring the technologies and quality control measures used in the industry.
• To gain insight into the production process, quality control, and distribution of dairy products in one of India’s leading dairy companies.

Later, the students were taken to Vellode Birds Sanctuary where they had lunch. Post lunch, we engaged the students in the nature stroll around the pond and then boarded the bus, filled with insightful takeaways.
