NUKKAD NATAK

The Government of India is committed towards a Sustainable Lifestyle for protecting the environment through its mission LIFE. For attainment of this mission, the government is promoting various initiatives through various competitions. One among them is a Nukkad Natak (street play) competition on the theme ‘Dharti kare Pukar’ conducted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. It is a matter of great pride that in this competition KIKANI VIDHYA MANDIR, School of Coimbatore, Tamilnadu has won the First prize both in the Regional and National level. On account of this, the victorious team of students and teachers was invited by the ministry to exhibit their performances of the play on June’4 before the panel of Honourable Ministers and other Dignitaries. Also the students and the whole team will get an opportunity to witness the Programme of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji on “World Environment Day” to be celebrated on June 5.
