PRERANA: The Experiential Learning Program

Prerana aims to inspire students across the country by connecting them to the roots of an inspirational journey—the place where the journey of our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi began. Each batch of the Prerana program will consist of 20 students selected from 10 districts across different states of India.

Prerana Selection Process Report

On 14th November 2024, three students from Kikani Vidhya Mandir—Sriram Kartikeyan (Grade XI), Japneet Kaur (Grade XI), and Renga Sri (Grade X)—participated in the Prerana Experiential Learning Program selection process at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Meena Estate, Coimbatore.

The event commenced with an orientation session, which included a briefing on the program through the Prerana film and pamphlets. Students then participated in multi-modal activities of their choice, such as writing essays, poems, stories, or songs, and creating drawings or caricatures on a given topic. This was followed by personal interviews conducted by an esteemed panel of external evaluators.

The selection process provided an enriching experience, enabling our students to demonstrate their personality, leadership skills, and overall potential. Despite its competitive and challenging nature, our students exhibited confidence and poise, making us immensely proud.
