On 19th Nov, the psychology students of Grade 11 and 12, visited the Naveen’s Rehabilitation Hospital for experiential learning. The team of 18 students and 2 staffs got an opportunity to interact with the in patients of the hospital. The students witnessed the real life experience of the people who face difficulties with emotional and mental health related problems. The students got a chance to use their counselling skills where they advocated empathy, reassurance, listening, non-judge-mentality, openness to new experience. The students were accompanied with 2 social workers and our school psychologist. As a contribution our students donated biscuit packets to the patients in the hospital.
